How different people can throw their energy into the same project for entirely different reasons. And how the returns on that energy can be very different to what was expected or hoped for, but just as satisfying and valuable. You might expect to become rich in cash, but the wealth in acquired friendship and experiences could outweigh those material gains.

They certainly make for a better story. Sure, if you got cash, you could use it to create new, possibly very different, stories and memories. But would they be better than those made without it?
